Jim Coulson, Partner
Jim has over thirty-five years of experience in Records and Information Management. He was Principal of Records Improvement Institute, LLC (RII), an international records management consulting firm, until it was acquired by Huron Consulting Group in 2005. At that time, Jim joined Huron as a Managing Director, where he built and managed the records and information management practice globally.
Coulson
Jim Coulson is a Certified Records Manager (CRM), co-author of an international text, Records Management Handbook, author and lecturer of the Records Improvement Course, Northeastern University, author of a comprehensive records management software, and author and developer of a computer-based training module on records retention.
Jim is a Fellow of ARMA International and has received the ARMA International Britt Literary Award, the ARMA International Award of Merit and the ARMA Canada Research and Development Award. Jim is a recipient of the Emmett Leahy Award, considered the highest global award in the records and information management profession.
